The Ashleigh is a little more direct than the Pelham, making it an ideal compromise between a bridle and a Pelham.
Because of the offset of its lower leg, the leverage action is a little more direct.
Its action will of course vary according to the position of the reins between the upper and lower loop.
As a reminder, the lower the rein position, the greater the leverage.
