Description

Metalab's verdun leather bit is a simple anatomical bit that offers a simple and comfortable contact.

Thanks to its leather alloy, it allows your horse's mouth to relax and your aids to be transmitted more gently.

Unlike the double curb bit, which acts on the tongue, the single curb bit acts on the palate.

It can be recommended for horses that are relatively easy but sensitive in the mouth, not very sensitive on the palate or with a hollow palate.

Ideal for training young horses.

The "pinchless" joint is a mechanism that prevents involuntary pinching of the tongue or corners of the mouth.

The bit never constrains tongue movement.

It dissociates the rider's hand actions.

It improves the horse's connection and relaxation.

The Verdun bit has D-shaped rings and a slight lever action. They rotate only along one axis, which prevents the corners of the mouth from being pinched.

The flat side of the D-ring makes this bit more directional than an olive or ring snaffle, but less so than a needle bit.
