This Verdun bit is made of resin, which will offer a softer contact and encourage your horse to relax. 

Resin bits offer a soft contact but are less soft and thick than a rubber bit. 

Happy Mouth bits are made from resin which is made from polyurethane. 

This is non-toxic and offers the horse a prolonged apple flavour to aid acceptance and relaxation. 

The Verdun bit will be a "D" shaped mouthpiece, which alllows the hand actions to be slightly channelled. 

This bit is particularly suitable for horses that will not tolerate pressur eon the tongue and react by shaking their head. 

Resin bits are ont guaranteed against biting, even after the first use.
