Description

The Flexi Soft Straight Pelham Bit is designed to achieve a constant and symmetrical contact.

It aids in establishing contact with the bit and is more suitable for horses that have difficulty relaxing with jointed bits.

The straight mouthpiece exerts direct pressure on the tongue and bars while allowing clearance for the palate.

Its straight design ensures a symmetrical left/right contact from the rider's hand to the horse's mouth, eliminating the risk of pinching the tongue. This helps the horse gain confidence with its mouthpiece, encouraging it to settle and relax.

The Pelham is a fixed-leverage bit. Through its action, it has a more or less pronounced lowering effect depending on the size of the shanks and how it is set up (adjustable with 2 or 4 reins, cheek pieces, curb chain).

It can be beneficial for strong and/or spirited horses to help channel their energy.

The curb chain allows you to vary the bit's intensity. It is recommended to use curb chain protectors for sensitive horses.
