How to choose your samshield foam size ?

It is important that the helmet fits the rider’s head perfectly. To find out your size, you will have to measure your head circumference with a tape measure, passing above the ears and in the middle of the forehead. You will therefore have a measurement between 52 and 61 which represents your helmet size. Then choose the appropriate shell and internal foam size. 

Samshield internal foams are available in two versions : an opening more recommended for round head shapes and an opening better suited for oval head shapes. It is essential to take the right size of internal foam in order to have a perfect fit of the helmet. Thus, it protects you effectively. 

How to choose between GPA, Antares, KEP or Samshield ?

The major advantage of the KEP and Samshield helmets is that they have internal size adjustment pads that are easy to remove and therefore washable. Then, they offer several forms of foam that adapt to all heads, unlike GPA and Antares.

However, GPA helmets have a very sporty look and are very innovative thanks to their Concept chinstrap. 

KEP helmets have a great capacity for customization and are recognized for their unparalleled comfort and lightness.

How to clean your Samshield helmet ?

You can blow out the dust stuck in the front air vents using a hair dryer in cool dry mode. To clean the outer shell you can use a damp cloth or baby wipes.

The internal size adjustment foams can be machine washed at 30 degrees without a dryer.

The Miss Shield helmets are similar to classic Samshield helmets, the only difference being that they have a wide visor. Plus, the front band can be customized with lots of super cool options. 

The outer shell’s choice : Alcantara, Shadow or Glossy

The Alcantara is a material similar to suede with a very soft feel, while shadow and glossy are smooth shells. This look is very elegant.

The shadow outer shell is matte and discreet. It is easier to clean than the Alcantara model.

Brighter, the glossy outer shell is shiny. The varnish effect makes them hulls where scratches are less visible.
