This cosy and skin-friendly Kentucky under rug is perfect for horses with sensitive skin.
The under rug comes with a neck that is also lined with artificial rabbit skin.
The neck section is designed not to add extra pressure to the withers.
It is closed with a double velcro closure.
The shape of the rug can easily be combined with other rugs and can therefore be adapted to the needs of your horse.
The outside of the skin-friendly under rug is made of polyester microfibre.
The yarn of this fabric has been sanded to create a cotton feel.
The lining of the under rug is our popular artificial rabbit skin.
The artificial rabbit skin is very comfortable for your horse to wear, especially for horses with sensitive skin or shorn horses.
The lining creates an extra insulating layer to retain your horse's body heat and creates a shiny effect on the horse's coat.
The 150g fibre filling has the same advantages as down, but unlike down, it does not absorb any odour.
The underlay is slightly shorter than other rugs so that it does not absorb moisture.
Thanks to the polyester microfibre, the rug stays in place better than other rugs.
The mat is closed with a front closure combined with a hook and loop closure.
On the back there are 2 D-rings for attaching a tail cord.
The neck attachement is different, here double velcro is used.
Care :
- For best performance, it is best to wash the skin friendly undercover once a month (machine washable at 30°). Do not tumble dry after washing.
