This beval bit is a combination of 3 bits in one:
Lateral framing,
A leverage effect,
A lifting effect.
This bit is often used to test your horse's reaction to leverage.
When you attach the reins to the large ring, pressure will be applied to lower the head.
When the reins are attached to the lower half ring, there will be a slight leverage effect for better reactivity.
The rings in the middle of the bit will encourage the horse to play with the bit.
The activity of the tongue will therefore be increased so that the horse produces more saliva and the jaws can relax more so that the horse releases into the mouth more quickly.
It will act on the tongue, bars and corners of your horse's mouth.
Sweet Iron bits are made of steel and will have a distinctive blue colour.
Sweet Iron develops rust when it comes into contact with moisture (in the mouth), which gives it a sweet taste and stimulates the horse's saliva production in a very natural way.
With this type of mouthpiece, your horse will foam more, which ensures better acceptance of the bit.
