Dosage :
Summer itching; Apply Derfen Clear at the base of the mane or tail directly to the skin and massage lightly. Wait for your horse to regratch before reapplying. This indicates the time between applications that the horse needs (between 4 and 10 days depending on the individual).
Winter scratching: no "summer" dermatitis in winter! While a mild winter may lead us to believe that insects are responsible for scratching, this is not the case. Denfer Claer will help to calm the itching each time it returns, it will act on the symptoms but it is essential to try to treat the cause.
Lice: lice infestations are very common in autumn, winter and even spring, and cause intense scratching. The areas affected may be the head, mane, tail or limbs. Not always very visible to the naked eye because of the hair, lice often cause sudden scratching for no apparent reason. In this case, contact your vet for appropriate treatment. Derfen Claer will soothe the itching but will not be able to "slide" onto all areas of the body.
