The SHELL PAD II the Tixerant is an evolution of the first model in order to make its use easier.
The reinforcement at the withers ensures the fixity of the pad and releases the withers from any pressure caused by the natural rotational movement of the pad.
This system prevents the pad from compressing the 1st dorsal vertebra, from sagging on the withers (keystone of the spine vertebral). A benefit for the horse, which, freed from these constraints, regains a balance essential to its performance.
The SHELL PAD II can be associated with the shaper which will ensure a better connection between the saddle and the horse's back, hence a
better distribution of the rider's weight and the pressure of the strap.
The shaper comes with two layers of foam of different density.
These foams are interchangeable in order to be able to adapt the shaper to the needs of his horse.
