Protection of the temple reduces the risk of concussion in the most fragile part of the skull, the temporal area, where the meningeal artery is located.
The Voronoi helmet is the only helmet to take the temporal zone into account.
The rigid shell protects the temple by absorbing and distributing the shockwave over a large surface area, while reducing the possibility of hitting the temporal area if the force of the impact were to deform the tip of the helmet.
The helmet's outer shell is made from high-tech carbon fibre.
Thanks to its structure of interwoven fibre layers, the carbon fibre shell offers strength for enhanced protection of the skull and temple.
The inner shell is made from EPS, one of the most absorbent materials on the market.
A rib reinforces the structure and ensures crush resistance well above the norm.
Freejump has taken its inspiration from the technology used in cycling and skiing helmets by integrating a sheet of polycarbonate directly on top of the EPS.
Inspired by the distinctive geometric pattern that gives the helmet its name, the vents are designed to optimise airflow for exceptional thermal regulation.
The Voronoi pattern creates a unique and captivating aesthetic reminiscent of dragonfly wings.
Each cell is carefully positioned to maximise resistance and airflow through the helmet, optimising safety, ventilation and breathability.
