This Pessoa bit has an anatomically shaped barrel that will rest very lightly and evenly on the tongue. 

Pinching will be avoided, the pressure on the bars and the tongue is regular. 

Depending on how the reins are connected, the leverage and lift effect will be different. 

Putting two pairs of reins will give the effect of a simple olive or ring bit. 

This bit will be particularly suitable for horses that cannot tolerate pressure on the tongue and react by shaking their head. 

The Pessoa is often used to test the horse's reaction to leverage. 

Resin bits are not guaranteed against biting even after the first use.
