The Bagging Ozone device consists of an ozone generator and a bagging, a kind of boot that hermetically seals the horse's foot.
It comes in a carry bag for added convenience.
The Bagging is a kind of boot in which the horse's foot is placed.
It is hermetically sealed above the knee for the forelegs and above the hock for the hindlegs.
It is important to maintain a certain amplitude to allow the ozone gas to circulate around the limb and under the foot.
The bagging is connected to an ozone generator designed for this type of treatment, which is capable of eradicating 99% of the colonies of bacteria and fungi present on the area covered by the bagging in 10 minutes.
The reduction in wound surface area is around 3 cm² per day.
Depending on the indications, the treatment lasts from 3 to 10 days, and may need to be repeated after 3 weeks.
In some fungal attacks, spores are brought to the surface by the first few days of treatment, but do not develop until a few weeks later, which justifies repeating the treatment until the symptoms have completely disappeared.
In this situation, the use of ozone is harmless, as the ozone diffuses into the bagging; any ozone that might escape through the holes in the bagging seams will be absorbed by the carbon filter at the bottom of the boot.
The device must be used outdoors or in a ventilated area.
There is no point in using it for more than 10 minutes, as the ozone introduced into the boot will no longer have any oxidising effect on the micro-organisms present.
Bagging can be used to treat :
- Mud scab
- Juice paws
- Rotten forks
- Other foot abscesses
Treatments last from 1 to 3 days, between 5 and 10 minutes a day.
Open the whole length of the boot, place the foot in the bowl at the bottom of the boot provided for this purpose.
Place the foot and close above or below the knee to secure the bagging.
The bagging remains loose around the foot and limb.
Attach the hose to the valve provided.
The valve is located next to the carbon filter that absorbs excess ozone.
Connect the other end of the hose to the generator.
Connect the generator to the mains.
Turn the timer to 10 and leave to work.
After 10 minutes, you can remove the device.

The standard size is 23 cm in diameter and 65 cm high, suitable for the vast majority of horses, for both front and hind legs.
