Tea Tree shampoo is designed specifically for the well-being of horses' skin, combining natural ingredients with decongestant, soothing and purifying properties.
Formulated without soap or synthetic derivatives, it respects the natural PH of equine skin, offering a gentle yet effective solution to relieve feelings of itching and irritation.
It is particularly effective at softening scabs, making it easier to care for and heal the skin.
This shampoo is ideal not only as a preventive measure, but also as an active treatment for mud mange and dermatitis, common skin conditions in horses.
Its natural formula ensures a gentle, skin-friendly treatment, making this shampoo a preferred choice for horse owners concerned about the health and comfort of their companions.
By combining the action of tea tree (antibacterial, antifungal, decongestant properties to improve venous and lymphatic return) and flavoids (natural antioxidants, soothing and decongestant effects), this shampoo cleanses the skin without damaging it, and combats dandruff and crusting.
The skin is healthy, soothed and shiny.
What's more, washing too often weakens the skin by removing its natural protective layer of sebum.
To counter this, the Tea Tree shampoo formula leaves a film imitating the sebum layer, for 24 hours.
Dosage:
Soften and loosen crusts; apply the shampoo to the previously wet area, massaging with your fingers or a washcloth to create a lather. To increase the lather, don't hesitate to wet the area again (without adding shampoo). Leave for 2 minutes before rinsing thoroughly with clean water. Do not pull out the crusts. Dry with a terry towel. Reapply 3 to 4 days later.
Soothe the skin in the event of skin irritations/scratches; 1 shampoo per week. Apply to wet area, massaging with fingers or washcloth to work into a lather. Leave on for 2 minutes before rinsing thoroughly. Do not tear off the scabs. Dry with a terry towel.
Decongest limbs after exercise; 1 shampoo after a long session. Apply the shampoo to wet limbs, massaging for a long time with your fingers or a washcloth. Leave on for 2 minutes before rinsing thoroughly. For optimum effect, spray from the bottom up: starting at the hoof and working your way up the limb. In addition to the decongestant effect of Tea Tree, this vertical movement of water helps to draw up excess blood and lymph in the body.
