The hoof is the protective envelope of the internal structures of the horse's foot.
Its wall is made up of rigid horn, which nevertheless retains a certain flexibility and mobility essential for absorbing shocks.
Pedigard Black Coat helps to strengthen the horn while preserving its elasticity.
Bay laurel oil, rich in lauric acid, deeply softens the horn.
Beeswax, nourishing because it's rich in vitamin A, also has a waterproofing action: it retains water in the foot, helping to combat dryness and acts as a barrier against external aggressions.
This barrier is reinforced by plant charcoal, whose porosity gives it the ability to adsorb external agents.
Supple and protected, the foot regains all its biomechanical properties.
Directions for use : Apply Pedigard Black Coat to the outside of the foot as part of your daily foot care routine. Also apply to the sole and frog if they are perfectly dry and healthy. Close tightly after use.
Separating the care of the top (outer wall) and bottom (sole and fork) of the foot is entirely possible and even highly recommended in certain cases.
In the event of even slight deterioration or excessive moisture on the sole and fork, it is preferable to apply Pediflex fluid oil to strengthen the horn while allowing the moisture to escape.
If the forks are too damaged, apply Pedicade to the forks and glomes.
Composition : Vaseline, Paraffin, Vegetable carbon (CAS n°: 1333-86-4), Beeswax, Bay laurel oil.
