These german reins from Dy'on's NEC (New English Collection) are made entirely of 16mm buffalo leather. 

They are sold with a removable strap attachment. 

The nylon rope is 8mm, quite thin! 

It will allow you to attach them thanks to the snap hooks directly on the straps rings or to attach them on the clip provided. 

The buckles are made of steel.
