Arctic Ice are large, flexible winter gaiters designed to provide good coverage over the affected area.
Four elastic straps provide a flexible fit, so the gaiters can be used anywhere on the horse's limb.
The unique Hypo-Freeze gel is made up of 24 separate pockets that conform to the shape of the lower limb, ensuring optimum contact with tendons and joints.
The gel maintains an intense cold effect for the optimum length of time needed for the cooling effect to have an impact.
Regular use of Arctic Ice gaiters for short periods (20-30 min) after strenuous exercise as a preventative measure ensures that ligaments, tendons and joints remain firm.
The faster tendon temperatures can be reduced after exercise, the better.
This applies to high-intensity dressage as well as galloping, show jumping and cross-country riding.
