Gibaud’s elastic strap

The Le Tixerant girth is THE brand’s flagship product ! It is specially designed to offer better freedom of movement to the horse while allowing optimal breathing comfort. 

The elastic designed by the French brand Gibaud present in the center of the strap makes it all its specificity. Indeed, it allows the horse not to be compressed by the strap. The rubber pad present on the elastic is ergonomic and allows the strap to stay in place without oppressing the rib cage of your horse.

This strap has already proven its quality in many disciplines and, in particular, in the racing world. In facts, its ergonomics offers the horse a high stretching capacity, which is essential in racing. Many of America’s Prize winners have them.

The Eric Le Tixerant girth exists in different versions respecting the specificities of each disciplines. 

The bib

For show jumping and cross country, Eric Le Tixerant has imagined a removable leather bib. The Le Tixerant bib is available in two sizes : a large model for horses and a small model for ponies.

It is recommended to remove the bib when training with your horse on a flat ground, as it can cause premature wear of the Gibaud elastic.
